2023 All-Star Tournament -Need to Knows

Hello to all Westbrook Little League Families, Friends and Fans!

Our All-Star season begins THIS WEEK! Here are a few “need to knows” about the upcoming tournament:

Volunteers: we can’t do this without you! The Westbrook Little League is still seeking volunteers to come out and help pitch in for the tournaments. Please SIGN UP HERE TODAY!

Parking: the main parking lot at the Westbrook Little League Complex will be closed to the public (with the exception of handicap and umpire parking). All others should please plan to park at Congin School (410 Bridge St, Westbrook, ME 04092) with overflow parking at the Westbrook Community Center.

Food + Concessions: Large coolers and food purchased from outside the Westbrook Little League Complex is not allowed. We have a full array of food, beverage, snack and candy items for sale in the upper and lower concession stands on site. Please consume any food or drinks purchased from outside the complex before entering the complex.

Seating: There are bleachers available at the field, however, feel free to bring lawn chairs to stage around the fields. Weather could be hot, and in consideration of other spectators, please do not bring umbrellas, shades, or similar items unless they can be set-up without interfering with other spectators.  Be advised, there is very little shade at the complex. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!

Pets: Pets are allowed at the Westbrook Little League complex, but must be on leash at all times. We kindly ask that you clean up after your pet as well.

Smoking/Vaping: Smoking (or vaping) is not permitted within the Westbrook Little League Complex.

Streaming Devices: No equipment associated with parental streaming of games may be affixed to any location on the playing facility including light stanchions and fencing.

Emergencies and Medical Care*** Call 911*** Westbrook emergency units are aware of the tournament schedule. AED devices are available at all three fields at the Westbrook Little League Complex.

Lightning: In the case of a thunderstorm the Westbrook Little League requires the fields to be evacuated (and seek cover in a building or vehicles) at the first sound of thunder or flash of lightning. There is a 30 minute wait after the last sound of thunder before returning to the fields. Please abide by the Tournament Director’s instructions.

Code of Conduct: We expect that all spectators are here to cheer on their favorite All-Star, but sometimes we get a little overzealous. Please be considerate of others and remember the Little League Parent + Volunteer pledge: I will teach all children to play fair and do their best. I will positively support all managers, coaches and players. I will respect the decisions of the umpires. I will praise a good effort despite the outcome of the game.

We thank you all for your contributions in supporting the Westbrook Little League and hope you enjoy the All-Star Tournaments!
