Managerial elections will be held for the Majors Baseball on Sunday 12/16 6pm at the WLL clubhouse. The Major's bylaws regarding Managerial elections are as follows:

1. VACANCIES - MANAGERS AND COACHES: PER THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, THE FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS AT THE FIRST MANAGERS MEETING WILL BE TO DETERMINE IF THERE ARE ANY MANAGER’S VACANCIES FOR THE YEAR. IF SO, A REPLACEMENT SHOULD BE DETERMINED AT THE MEETING IF POSSIBLE. AT THE MEETING, EACH CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ADDRESS THE BOARD OF MANAGERS AND COACHES IF THEY SO DESIRE. THIS WILL BE FOLLOWED BY A VOTE OF THE CURRENT MANAGERS. THE NAME OF THE CANDIDATE WILL BE BROUGHT BACK TO THE BOD FOR APPROVAL. MANAGERS MAY CHOOSE NEW COACHES AFTER THE DRAFT HAS BEEN COMPLETED. 

The draft is scheduled for the end of March. More information regarding the draft/tryouts/registrations will be posted in the new year.

Congratulations to the 2012 Beast Of The North East Champions

The Maine Lightning 12us won seven consecutive games to Capture the 4th
annual Beast of The Northeast Tournament.  The Lightning defeated Team
Berwick 14-6 to capture the Championship Sunday afternoon.  The road to the
championship did not come easy.  The Lightning had to go extra innings in
the semi-finals games earlier in the day.  It took seven innings to defeat
the Maine Black Flies 12U team 5-4 to advance to the championship game in
the afternoon.  CONGRATULATIONS LIGHTNING!!

Thank You to all the players, parents, and coaches that helped make this
years tournement a HUGE success!!  We hope to see you all next year!!

Congratulations to the 2012  10/11 Year Old Westbrook Softball Allstar team for winning the State Championship!!!

We are hosting the following tournaments on our softball field starting this Sunday 7/22/12: 

* The 10-11 state tournament (our 10-11 team is playing)
* The Juniors state tournament 

We are looking for at least 6 volunteers for each game. Please take a look at the schedule and see if there is a game or two where you can stop in and help out.
